Terms and Conditions

Summary

Brimstock Cottage is our home and we welcome guests to share this wonderful place with us.  However we ask all guests to look after the Cottage as if it were their own and be considerate of our neighbour and guests who will be staying afterwards.

Booking and Payment

Once you have made a booking, either through the website or by calling then we will provide confirmation that your dates are available and the price.
We ask for a booking fee of £100 due at the time of booking, with the remaining amount due 4 weeks prior to your stay.
Once you have paid your booking fee we will confirm payment and the booking.
We can accept payment by BACS, Cheque or Paypal.  Unfortunately we cannot accept credit or debit cards over the phone.
If you need to change your arrangements then we try to rearrange your holiday if possible.  If you cancel with less than six months notice then the booking fee is not returnable.

Arriving and Leaving Times

The Cottage will be available from 4pm on your day of arrival and we ask you to leave by 10am on your leaving day.  This is necessary to ensure that the Cottage can be cleaned ready for the next guests.

Use of Accomodation

The use of the Cottage is at your risk and no responsiblity is taken for injury, loss or damage.  Any damages and breakages will need to be paid for (other than minor damages).  The Cottage needs to be left in a clean and tidy state with rubbish disposed of in the bins provided.

Young Children

The garden at Brimstock Cottage is terraced, steep in places with unprotected drops and although this is intrinsic to the charm and character of the property it is not safe for young unsupervised children.

Dogs

We welcome pets and well-behaved owners.  We do not make an additional charge for pets.  Please do not leave your pets unattended in the cottage.

You are responsible for removing any evidence left by your pet(s)  and for any damage caused by your pet(s).  Please use the throws provided to cover the sofas and window seats and please show consideration for guests visiting after you have gone home.  Please ensure that poo is picked up from the garden before you leave.
The garden is enclosed, but no responsibility can be accepted by us for any injury or loss of your pet(s).

Party Numbers

The Cottage is a two-bedroom cottage, with a sofa bed in the lounge.  It is set up for a maximum of 5-6 people and we will not accept bookings for parties in excess of this number.
